So what exactly is "The Music Tourist"???
This is an excerpt taken from my very first post introducing the blog:

"So what is a music tourist? To be honest, I'm still in development of what that is in regards to this blog and my musical personality. A tourist is someone who visits a place they are not originally from for exploration or leisure. Music is my means of exploring who I am as an artist and as a person. It is also used for my relaxation and retreat from anything and everything. A music tourist is freelance, she may not travel physically to different destinations in the world but she explores her surroundings, broadens her horizons, redefines her predisposed judgments, and challenges her boundaries and criticisms. This essence of being a music tourist is a project and a challenge to overcome obstacles and travel the musical world and all its opportunities. But believe me, I would love to literally travel the world and experience all kinds of music instead of experiencing music globalization within the confines of YouTube searching. Until I am able to acquire that kind of mileage, I remain comfortably in that definition. "

Although these are not posted every weekday, each weekday has a certain theme/subject attributed to it. Click the link to see a sample post of each subject.

Tuesday: Tourist Tuesdays (every other week)
Every Tuesday will be focusing on music tourism. This day consists of reviews, interviews, concerts, music business topics, and new explorations of music.

Thursday: Throwback Thursday
On this day I will find four YouTube songs of a certain theme or genre, from at least from 5 years ago (mostly), and refresh it in the reader's minds. This section will have different kinds of music represented, from one-hit wonders to little known songs to huge hits from the past.

Saturday: The Five Spot (every other week)

Every Saturday, I will be reporting, summarizing, or offering commentary on five chosen music stories, articles, and subjects. Most of these will be concerning the past week, unless I find an old piece that would be interesting to feature. "The Five Spot" will debut in January.

Sunday Potpourri
This day is more of a freelance, fun day that consists of randomly featured posts that could not really fit into the other categories of the other days. Everything from quotes, rants, discussions, quizzes, updates on my life, anything is fair game for this day.

I think that's a fair intro to the wonder that is "The Music Tourist." There's so much more in store. :)
