50 Songwriting Ideas #1

Popular songs, stories, and poems pretty much center around three things: love, loss and nature. These topics then get broken down into many different subtopics and subgenres. Good writers utilize these in a way that distinguish their work from all the others, but still is familiar enough with the audience to generate popularity and success. Nowadays it can be argued that popular music is centered around the elements of sex, dance, and partying with a few outliers. Many artists struggle to stay with the times while trying to hold on to their creative flare. As writers, we are the keys to success; for without the song itself, there is no music. Sometimes we just need to get out of our own heads and just write and see what happens. There is nothing wrong with writing about sex and dance. But some of us may want a little more of a challenge.

Below are 50 Songwriting Ideas that we artists could possibly use as inspiration to write.
